Webinar on: “Covid-19 – Education, Responsibilities of Parents & Educational Institutions”
Karnataka, 7th Sept, 2020: The Federation of Muslim Educational Institutions-India (FMEI) Karnataka State Chapter conducted a Zoom & YouTube live webinar on the topic of “Covid-19 – Education, Responsibilities of Parents & Educational Institutions” on 7th September, 2020.
The webinar started with the recitation of Holy Qur’an by Hafiz Aslam Janab, Sec. Education Dept, JIH Karnataka State.
After that, welcome speech was delivered by Mr. Mohammad Asifuddin, Executive Committee Member, FMEI Karnataka State Chapter.
Dr. Abdul Qadeer, President, FMEII Karnataka Chapter said in his speech, “Stop stretching legs and start walking holding hands, let's work together on a platform.
General Secretary, FMEI, Mr. Shams Tabrez, introduced FMEI and explained its scope of work. He also talked about “Collective struggle in Covid-19”.
The Secretary, Markazi Talimi Board, JIH, Mr. Syed Tanveer Ahmed discussed in detail the responsibilities of educational institutions in Covid-19 perspectives.
Mr. Asad Umri, International Trainer and Life Coach, talked on “Post Covid-19: Responsibilities of parents”.
Participants in the webinar also expressed their views on the following points-
Ø Parents are socially and psychologically affected. Hence, negative impact on students and their studies has been reported due to Covid-19.
Ø All sections of the society are disturbed by Covid-19. How can we overcome?
Ø GDP is down. Every citizen is economically affected. How to resolve it?
Ø How to bring back education on track?
Ø What are the responsibilities of Educational Institutions in perceptive of Covid-19?
